Steril-Zone Warranty
Five (5) Year Limited Warranty

This limited warranty will become void, at the manufacturer's option, unless the Warranty Registration Card or online Registration is completed by the customer and received by the manufacturer within 30 days from the date of purchase. What is covered
The Steril-Zone Room Air Purifier (other than the Filter Unit) is warranted against original defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. The original and subsequent Filter Units are warranted against original defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Steril-Aire agrees to repair or replace, at its discretion, at its authorized service center, without charge, all defective parts in units which are returned for inspection within the warranty period; provided such inspection shows that the defects are not result of the causes described below in "Warranty Exclusions". A Steril-Aire RA number, available from the Steril-Aire helpline, is required before any unit can be returned for warranty service. All shipping and insurance costs for equipment repaired or replaced under warranty for original defects in material and workmanship are the responsibility of Steril-Aire. All other repair returns are the responsibility of the party shipping the equipment.
- This warranty is not transferable.
- To the extent that any provision of this warranty is inconsistent with any applicable law, such provision shall be deemed voided or amended, as necessary to comply with such law.
Warranty exclusions
The Steril-Aire warranty shall not apply to, and Steril-Aire, Inc. shall not be liable for, costs, damages or repairs incurred as a result of:
- Any unit purchased from an unauthorized dealer.
- Units that have had its serial number or any part thereof altered, defaced or removed.
- Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorized parties or agents.
- Careless operation or handling, misuse, accident and/or improper maintenance.
- Improper voltage or use not in accordance with the User Guide.
- External sources such as weather.
- Use of the room air purifier other than for normal household purposes.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Use of parts or accessories other than those produced or recommended by Steril-Aire, Inc.
Warranty service
- The warranty registration card must be completed and returned to Steril-Aire within 30 days of purchase for the warranty to be effective.
- If your air purifier is not functioning properly, please call the Steril-Aire Helpline at 818-565-1128. Most issues can be resolved over the telephone by our trained customer care staff.
- Before you can return a unit, you must obtain an RA number from the Steril-Aire helpline with your serial number and date and place of purchase. The serial number is found on the bottom of the Room Air Purifier. Please keep your purchase receipt in a safe place to ensure you have this information.
- All work will be carried out by Steril-Aire, Inc. or its authorized agents.
- You must notify us of any shipping damage within 7 days after receiving the merchandise so we can process the appropriate claims with the shippers. If you DO NOT notify us within 7 days, you have accepted the merchandise in its current condition.
- A Return Authorization (RA) number must accompany all products returned for service or repair. The RA number must be clearly visible on the external packaging. The absence of an RA number will delay the service or repair process, for any shipment to Steril-Aire, Inc. not accompanied with a RA number will not be accepted or immediately sent back to the shipper. Please call the Steril-Aire helpline to receive a RA umber prior to shipment.
- Carefully pack the item in its original carton or other suitable box to avoid damage in shipping. Return defective product to Steril-Aire, Inc. with a brief description of the problem. Include proof of purchase, your name, address and a daytime phone number. It is recommended that you ship via a service with tracking capabilities.
- Any replaced defective parts become the property of Steril-Aire Inc.
- Service during the warranty period will not extend the period of the initial warranty period.

NOTE: If you experience a problem, please contact Steril-Aire first or see your warranty. Do not return to the original place of purchase. Do not attempt to open the motor housing. Doing so may void your warranty and cause damage to the air purifier or cause personal injury. |
